System APG IV - APG IV system
System APG IV kwitnienia roślin klasyfikacji jest czwartą wersją nowoczesnego, głównie cząsteczkowym opartym, system taksonomii roślin dla roślin kwiatowych (okrytozalążkowych) rozwijany przez Angiosperm Filogeneza grupy (APG). Został opublikowany w 2016 roku, siedem lat po wydaniu swojego poprzednika systemu APG III w 2009 roku i 18 lat po opublikowaniu pierwszego systemu APG w 1998 roku. W 2009 roku osobno opublikowano liniowy układ systemu; artykuł APG IV zawiera takie rozwiązanie, odniesione do artykułu z 2009 roku.
W porównaniu z systemem APG III, system APG IV rozpoznaje pięć nowych rzędów ( Boraginales , Dilleniales , Icacinales , Metteniusales i Vahliales ), wraz z kilkoma nowymi rodzinami, co daje w sumie 64 rzędy okrytozalążkowych i 416 rodzin. Generalnie autorzy określają swoją filozofię jako „konserwatywną”, opartą na wprowadzaniu zmian z APG III tylko tam, gdzie wykazano „dobrze wspieraną potrzebę”. Czasami prowadziło to do miejsc, które nie są kompatybilne z opublikowanymi badaniami, ale gdzie konieczne są dalsze badania przed zmianą klasyfikacji.
